Richard is the Chief Executive and a partner at Balcroft. He has spent the last 13 years working with and running other consultancy firms. He has built up vast experience developing new business and helping bring about change in numerous blue chip organisations across the globe. He has particular depth working with FTSE 250 / Fortune 500 clients across a number of different sectors including transport, finance, M&E, FM, utilities, social housing, retail, materials handling and ICT. Before entering consulting, early experience was gained in various global firms including JP Morgan, Lloyds Bank and BT. Richard is also a Trustee for Dingley Family and Specialist Early Years Centres.

John is the Chief Operating Officer and is a partner at Balcroft. He has enjoyed a progressive career working in the Public Sector, Transport and Logistics, Information Management and most recently Property Compliance. John has progressed from Operations Director, to Managing Director to Group Managing Director, Europe to CEO. He has consistently grown businesses through a mixture of acquisition and strong organic growth and has completed over 50 acquisitions across 18 countries. Most notably John led Iron Mountain Europe’s growth from £18 million to £400 million, built Connaught Compliance as a new venture to £150 million and most recently led Green Compliance plc ( aim listed ) for four years as CEO.

He has an extensive understanding of driving business change while building and leading teams in the delivery of double digit new business growth. Mark has worked for a range of UK and US Listed Companies in the Finance, Information Management, Logistics and Local Government sectors, including Equiniti and Capita, winning and managing major client wins and holding key client relationships and growth partnership strategies.

With 31 years of telecommunications experience spanning three continents, Carol career has taken her from TELUS in Canada to British Telecom (BT) in the U.K. to Bharti Airtel in India, back to TELUS and now in her own Customer Experience practice. Carol rejoined TELUS in 2009 as Senior Vice-President Client Experience in support of consumer contact centers across Canada and in 2011 accepted the newly created role of Senior Vice President Customers First Culture. Carol ignited passionate customer advocacy across TELUS with the launch of Customers First in 2010 and was the driving force behind the evolution of TELUS corporate culture to deliver on the future is friendly to clients.

With 7 years’ experience as a Group Board Director of a FTSE 100 company operating in forty countries, Vic has considerable strategic and operational level experience. Having left the British Army in 1999, after serving as Company Commander for the final three years of his tenure, Vic went on to work for Nokia, before joining Capita in 2002. He retired as Chief Operating Officer in January 2018. Working with Balcroft, Vic is one of the senior Advisory figures providing oversight around programmes and operations.

Carole Plant has had a 20 year career in blue-chip global companies, most recently as Managing Director of Business Process Re-engineering at Citigroup EMEA. She spent five years at Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Bank where she was Head of Performance Improvement for Global Operations She was also Head of Customer Service Delivery for the Retail and Commercial Bank in Citibank EMEA. Prior to this, Carole spent twelve years with General Electric in a variety of roles across both financial services and industrial sectors, finishing her time as UK & Ireland MD and then European Operations Director for GE Mortgage Insurance. While working at GE European Equipment Finance, she certified as a Six Sigma Master Black BeltIn 2005, Carole received the European Women’s Union Business Woman of the Year award. In September 2012, she set up her own Consulting Company and has completed a number of interim consulting roles at ActiveOps, Telefonica and HSBC.

Mark is a seasoned Business Transformation CEO/Chairman working with PLCs, private-equity and privately owned company boards and stakeholders – to deliver significant EBITDA growth through strategic market making, operational performance improvement and management team development. His background includes taking an AIM listed plc as CEO to the FTSE250, building two large international divisions for FTSE100 companies and more recently leading two private-equity backed businesses in the energy/environmental sector. He has completed over 50 acquisitions including three successful buy-and-build programmes.
Mark is founder of Value Bridge Advisory, which he established to help private business owners build and maximise the value of their company prior to a sale or equity release event.
Mark has a BSC in Economics from Bristol University and an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Mick is a senior Exec and Board Director, with success in global firms, consultancy, start-ups and non-profit. He has held senior positions at Procter & Gamble as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Johnson & Johnson, as Company Group Chairman and UK & Ireland Managing Director at dunnhumby. Mick is also Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds, and was on the Board of Trustees of Save the Children (USA). He also chaired an Australian biotech IPO.

Having joined Bose UK as Finance Director in 1985, Phil went on to become Managing Director in 1993. He built the company from almost the ground up to become a leading brand in the world of consumer electronics. Along the way he successfully integrated new distribution, own retail stores, direct marketing, on-line business on to existing distribution , wholesale & professional, without disrupting business relationships. He also oversaw the formation and development of a customer service group together with opening a first-class call-centre, all of the time maintaining the profitability of the business.
